We, Quarks Engineering Pvt Ltd, would like to bring to your attention that we recently imported “Linear Alkyl Benzene” (LAB) HSN code – 38170011, quantity 344 number of Barrels (Four 20 feet containers).

We regret to inform you we received only documents copy through email and till now we didn’t receive original documents for onward submission to the customs office.

Repeatedly we contacted the supplier and were unable to reach them from 3rd January 2022 onwards thus we fear that the supplier had cheated with the fund as well as ordered items.
1. The containers are were taken for weighing and found that there is no actual quantity.
2. As customs officials opened the containers and found that there is only 25 barrels are there in each container i.e. there is only 100 barrels.
3. We fully settled with the supplier payment details as under

6. Total amount paid to Hebei Hongjun New Material Co. Ltd. 78120.00 USD
7. Further, we paid an amount of Rs. 16,71,577/- as customs duty in Vishakapatnam Port.
We humbly request you to take up this matter very seriously and sympathetically and kindly request to refund the customs duty paid by us and help us to get the amount paid to China Company to recover from the financial burden.
